Recently completed in 2009 Muscat City Centre in Qurum offers a wide array of shops. It’s very convenient for those who hate driving. Previously, if you wanted to visit City Centre , you had to drive all the way to Al-Hail. The new city centre in Al-Qurum has a Carrefour hypermarket where you can do all your weekly shop If you are taking a self catering holiday to Oman then Carrefour is probably your best bet.

Inside City centre Qurum they have a food court, small rides for children and there is a rent a kiddy car service, so you can leave the trolley in the car! Perhaps one of the annoying things that I have discovered in Oman is that there is a total lack of breast feeding places for mothers. That and the fact that there are NO trolleys that offer you the option of attaching your car seat, in order for you to take your small baby around shopping.

This is something that I have struggled with a lot, as small babies can’t sit upright in a shopping trolley, and there is only so much shopping you can do whilst pushing a pushchair around. I will be listing a full break down of all the shops that can be found inside Qurum City Centre. ……….
