Not good news for most parents who are already at a loss for what to do to keep the kids entertained during the grueling summer holidays. With the heat reaching 40 degrees during most days of the summer vacation mothers across the sultanate are trying their best to keep children well entertained.
The ministry of health in Oman had issued statements reassuring people not to panic in the sight of swine flu, however do you really think that they would have delayed the opening of government monitored schools across the sultanate if swine flu wasn’t a bigger threat than they are letting on? I think not !
Over 350 people have the disease, people are being warned not to go in crowded places, stay away from people that have recently arrived back from their travels for 72 hours and wash wash wash those hands !
If you have any flu like symptons should go to the Dr’s immediately and check it out. Even if you have the h1n1 virus it is treatable and the sooner you get diagnosed the sooner you can recover.
Small babies and children under 6 should really avoid going out in crowded places as they are more susceptible to the virus and its harder to cure them from the disease as they cant take tamiflu.
