Blue City Freehold Development Oman

Blue city Oman is a fifteen billion dollar  property development that will cover around 34 square kilometres.  Blue city Oman is set on the East coast at Al Sawaadi, a 45 minute drive away from Muscat. Like The Wave , Blue City Oman is a freehold development.

When the Blue City Oman project is completed it will include a total of sixteen hotels, a large university and two hospitals. There will also be an aquarium, sports village and a convention centre.

You could say that everything will be in one place! , it’s also a little sad though from another point of view, as the surrounding beaches of Al-Sawaadi will disappear, and be replaced with an array of construction and building.

Set around thirty minutes from the Seeb Muscat international airport the location of Blue City Oman is very convenient for national and international transportation. The development is derived from nothing; it will hold around two hundred thousand inhabitants when full.

The main aim of Blue city Oman is to build a fully integrated community set on the coast. The project is so big that some believe that Blue City may some day become Oman’s new capital.

The environment in Al-Sawaadi is supported and left alone rather then spoilt; in fact the marshland of the area runs through the middle of the city and is a focal point for the development.

The Omani way of life sees all people working, playing and living together regardless of economic standing. This ethos will apply from now on in Blue city, Oman, where everyone is equal. That’s perhaps one of the great things about Oman, there really isn’t any racial discrimination, people from all warps of life live in the Sultanate of Oman and the country could be considered as one of the most peaceful in the world!

The city will include plenty of shops, restaurants and other places to mix and to enjoy. The blue city also has its own health care system for all its residents and the intention is for the city to have its own economy.

It’s said that Blue city will thrive thanks to all people being welcome to live and work there, with a new city all economic levels need to be catered for to allow a place to thrive and grow. You need people to spend money but also people to do the jobs that the people will spend their money to support!

This place is perfectly situated in a hot area with clear blue seas and vast panoramas and vistas. Blue City, Oman is set in a location that will attract people to live and work there, the country will attract people and the history of Oman will also attract people. Blue city is a stunning location and the perfect place to relocate to.

Hi Milton – It depends how big your family is , if you are working out here with a company , if you have kids to educate etc etc. I’d say if you were planning on renting a place for a family of 4 you’d need at least 2000 RO (joint income) a month in salary. For starters you need a car – walking in this heat just doesn’t work ! Also you will have to pay for the kids education , your rent will set you back throw in water electricity (Gas isn’t so bad ) phone , etc etc etc well you would be pretty much spent up ! If you got a job of course all of the expenses will be covered by the company…….

I do plan on adding pictures , alhough I want to take my own , if you check back soon there will be piccys too.
